Windows *******CHANGE OF SCOPE: General Description This project consists of interior renovations and exterior component replacements limited to windows, doors, cabinetry, and flooring. No changes to the building footprint, structural framing (unless noted), occupancy, or mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems except as required for code compliance. All work will comply with the currently adopted local building code, residential code, energy code, and applicable zoning regulations. ? Detailed Scope of Work 1. Windows • Remove and replace existing windows in existing openings only. • New windows to be code-compliant, energy-efficient units with appropriate U-factor and SHGC ratings. • Window size, location, and rough openings to remain unchanged. • Installation to include proper flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing. • No structural modifications to headers or load-bearing walls unless approved separately. ? 2. Doors • Remove and replace existing interior and/or exterior doors. • New doors to match existing opening sizes. • Exterior doors to be insulated and weather-rated per energy code requirements. • Door hardware, locks, and safety glazing to meet applicable code standards. • No changes to door locations or wall framing. ? 3. Cabinets • Remove and replace existing kitchen and/or bathroom cabinets. • New cabinets to be installed in existing locations. • No relocation of plumbing, gas, or electrical systems. • Cabinet installation to comply with manufacturer specifications and clearance requirements. • Countertops (if included) to be installed without structural modification. ? 4. Flooring • Remove existing flooring materials as needed. • Install new flooring (e.g., hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, or carpet). • Subfloor to be inspected and repaired as necessary without altering structural framing. • Flooring installation to meet manufacturer and building code requirements. • Transitions and finishes to be installed at doorways and adjoining rooms. ?
